Finalidad u objetivo de la ayuda:

Convocatoria de propuestas para 2005 en el ámbito del mecanismo comunitario para facilitar una cooperación reforzada en las intervenciones de ayuda de la protección civil: Ejercicios de simulación de emergencia más importantes.

General objectives for all types of exercise:
• To verify and improve procedures, to establish a common understanding of the cooperation in civil protection assistance interventions and to accelerate the response in major emergencies;
• To provide a learning opportunity for all actors involved in civil protection assistance under the Community Mechanism for Civil Protection;
• To enhance operational cooperation between the participating countries’ Civil Protection entities;
• To involve the actively participating countries either in the preparatory phase of the exercise (core group) or in the performance phase, promoting an active cooperation (establish a specialists' network, compare working methods, share experience …). To ensure maximal benefit, the observers of the participating countries should have attended one of the training courses organised by the Commission;
• To give participants practical insights to the civil protection systems in other participating countries.

This program is open to any legal person established in one of the EU Member States or one of the other states participating in the Mechanism, namely Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Bulgaria and Romania.

¿Qué gastos o inversiones que realices te pueden subvencionar?

Eligible costs of the exercises may include:
• The costs of the personnel and experts assigned to the preparation of the exercise;
• The actual costs of travel, accommodation and catering for all participants throughout the exercise as well as the costs of transport of their equipment, in accordance with the relevant reimbursement rules of the Commission (Appendix IV);
• The actual costs of travel, accommodation and catering for one observer per participating country in the Community mechanism, in accordance with the relevant reimbursement rules of the Commission (Appendix IV);
• The costs inherent in the implementation and use of the specialised equipment (the cost of purchasing specialised equipment is not eligible in the context of this financing, except for consumables);
• Secure and satellite communication expenses if necessary;
• The production and distribution of documentation for all the participants and observers;
• The expense of providing buildings and exercise area;
• The necessary educational equipment;
• The costs of translating documents into English;
• The organisation of the lessons learned workshop at the end of the exercise.
• Interpretation during the workshop.
